ブランドについて
ISAGOは、京都の伝統素材・西陣織や、立体的なコード装飾「ソウタシエ」などを用いて、
日常にそっと寄り添うアクセサリーを制作するハンドメイドブランドです。
「Tシャツやデニムに合わせても浮かない、でも少し気分が上がる」
そんな、暮らしにとけこむ美しさを形にしています。
シンプルすぎず、華美すぎず。
上品さと親しみの間にある“ちょうどいい存在感”を、素材と曲線で表現しています。
ブランド名「ISAGO」に込めた意味
「いさご（細石）」とは、日本語で“細かい砂”を意味する言葉です。
はるかな昔、砂が集まって石に、石が集まって岩になると信じられていたように、
isagoも、小さな一片の積み重ねで成り立っています。
どんな小さな工程も、美しいものづくりの一歩として大切に。
その姿勢をブランド名に込めました。
制作の特徴と素材
すべての作品は一点ずつ手作業で制作しています。
使用素材は以下のようなものが中心です：
- 西陣織（京都の伝統織物）
- ソウタシエコード（ハンガリー発祥の装飾技法）
- タティングレース（繊細な結び目で構成される手編みレース）
- クリスタルガラスやシードビーズ など
コードの流れや糸の張り、柄の取り方や色の配置など、
1mm単位の調整を繰り返しながら、構造と表情のバランスを整えています。

ISAGOのアクセサリーが目指すこと
装飾のためだけではなく、
その人の「今日の気持ち」を少しだけ整える存在でありたいと考えています。
たとえばふと鏡を見たとき、
たとえば指先が触れたときに、
「これ、やっぱり好きだな」と思ってもらえるように。
感情に寄り添う小さな光のような存在を、ひとつずつ丁寧に作っています。
制作者について
isagoのアクセサリーは、ひとりの作家によってデザインから縫製まで手作業で仕立てられています。
制作において大切にしているのは、細部の美しさです。
1mmの差を調整し、コードの流れを何度も見直し、縫い目の軌跡そのものも美しくあるように。
見えない部分まで丁寧に設計することが、作品全体の佇まいを左右すると考えています。
その姿勢は、建築を思わせる工程にも似ています。
構造、素材、光の加減。複数の要素が支え合いながら、静かな美しさをかたちづくっていく。
その過程にこそ、手仕事ならではの魅力があると信じています。
また、ジュエリーコーディネーター2級（日本ジュエリー協会認定）としての知識を活かし、
素材の質感や着け心地、全体のバランスにもこだわりながら、日常に溶け込むアクセサリーを目指しています。
華やかすぎず、控えめすぎず。
身につけた人がふと気分を整えられるような、ささやかな美しさを届けられたら嬉しく思います。

About the Brand
ISAGO is a handmade jewelry brand based in Japan,
creating pieces that quietly elevate everyday life.
Using materials such as Nishijin-ori (Kyoto’s traditional silk weaving),
soutache cord embroidery, and hand-tatted lace,
each accessory is designed to harmonize with casual outfits—
like T-shirts and denim—without feeling out of place.
The goal is to create pieces with a presence that feels just right:
not too simple, not too ornate,
but something refined, familiar, and quietly expressive.
The Meaning of “ISAGO”
ISAGO is a Japanese word meaning “fine grains of sand.”
Long ago, it was believed that sand would gather to become stone, and stone to become rock.
That image of small things accumulating into something strong and lasting is central to the brand’s philosophy.
Every stitch, every line, every choice—no matter how small—is treated as an essential step in building something beautiful.
Craftsmanship and Materials
All pieces are entirely handcrafted, and each one is unique.
Key materials include:
- Nishijin-ori, a richly woven silk textile from Kyoto
- Soutache cord, a traditional embellishment technique from Hungary
- Tatted lace, made by knotting thread into delicate, airy patterns
- Crystal glass and seed beads, chosen for their light and texture
The work involves precise planning and constant adjustment—
measuring down to the millimeter, balancing curves, tension, and texture.
This balance between structure and softness defines isago’s craftsmanship.

About the Creator
Every piece of isago jewelry is thoughtfully designed and handcrafted by a single artist.
Great care is taken with every detail—adjusting by millimeters, refining the flow of cords, and ensuring even the stitching itself forms a beautiful path.
I believe that invisible elements—structure, tension, alignment—quietly shape the overall presence of a piece.
The creative process often feels like architecture:
balancing materials, form, and light to construct a quiet elegance that supports itself in harmony.
This sense of structure is where the true beauty of handcraft lies.
As a certified Level 2 Jewelry Coordinator (Japan Jewellery Association),
I draw on my knowledge of materials, comfort, and visual balance to create accessories that feel natural in everyday life.
Not too flashy, not too plain—
just the right amount of beauty to gently lift your mood when you wear it.
That is the kind of presence I hope to offer through isago.
